Xentrafen is a diet pill made in the USA by NexGen Biolabs and the company is pretty bold with the claims it’s making for the product because they say its “unlike any diet pill that the world has ever seen!” and “the most sophisticated weight loss product available without a prescription”.

Promised benefits include:

  • Maximum appetite suppression
  • Extreme weight loss
  • Enhanced energy and mental focus
  • Significantly reduced BMI
  • Targets fat and lipid metabolism in stubborn areas
  • Enhances metabolic function and improves fat burning

What is Xentrafen and How Does it Work?

NexGen say Xentrafen is specifically designed to target and burn body fat and cellulite while also ensuring no muscle tissue is lost in the process.

They also claim it provides quick results. If the pills can provide the promised appetite suppression they should help people to eat less food and lower their calorie intake, and this will encourage the body to burn fat. It seems unlikely that it will be able to target fat that has built up in stubborn areas though.

Diet pill manufacturers have been trying to do this for years and, so far, it’s proved to be an impossible task.

What is Xentrafen and How Does it Work?

Key Ingredients

Like too many diet pills these days, Xentrafen is powered by a proprietary blend. The use of a blend such as this provides manufacturers with a good excuse for not disclosing inclusion rates for the ingredients they are using. This makes it very difficult to evaluate a product’s potential and to predict the kind of side effects its use may entail.

Each one-capsule serving provides 337mg of a proprietary blend that consists of:

  • 1,3,7 Trimethylxanthine: This sounds like a complicated ingredient. It’s not. 1,3,7 Trimethylxanthine is only caffeine. It’s good for boosting energy levels and has proven fat burning capabilities, but high doses can cause jitters and other side effects, so the lack of an inclusion rate is not a good thing.
  • Synephrine: A fat burning stimulant that’s often added to diet pill formulations and can be found in bodybuilding supplements too. Overly high doses have the potential to cause side effects though, so, once again, the lack of an inclusion rate is an issue.
  • NN-Dimethyltyramine: An ingredient that is more commonly known as hordenine. It’s often used as an energy provider and as a fat burner too, but it’s very under-researched and there are doubts about its viability as an ingredient in nutritional supplements.
  • 5-Hydroxytryptophan: An ingredient that is sometimes sourced from the leaves of an African plant (Griffonia simplicifolia) and is occasionally used as a treatment for sleep disorders, seizure, and Parkinson’s disease. It appears to have the ability to boost serotonin levels and this can influnence the appetite.
  • Schizandrol A: An extract taken from a Chinese plant. Schizandrol is a fast-acting stimulant that produces a short-term high. It’s unlikely to offer much values as a weight loss aid and is somewhat of a worrying inclusion because its potential to cause side effects has not been adequately explored.
  • Yohimbine: A tree bark extract that improves the circulation. It’s an age-old treatment for erectile dysfunction, and is believed to help protect muscle mass, but it’s one more stimulant in a formulation that already has more than enough.

Usage Instructions

One Xentrafen capsule is required before lunch and a second one is needed before dinner. “Advanced users” can take a third capsule, if desired, to provide additional appetite suppression.

Xentrafen Customer Feedback

A few average customer reviews read:

“Works great. I used it with Xentrafen PM and lost a ton of weight.”

“Nope! Never lost a single pound. Pretty bad job really. I won’t be wasting anymore money on further supplies.”

“Amazing product. Really helps you get to grips with your hunger and keep on treading the right path.”
“This diet pill helped me to lose a pound or two, but it made me feel sick to the stomach and put me in a very low mood.”

Xentrafen Side Effects & Health Issues

A number of past users state the pills made them feel unwell, so we suggest not using this product without a doctor’s approval. This is especially important for people who have existing health problems and for anyone taking medication. Xentrafen will not be suitable for women who are pregnant or nursing a child.

Where To Buy Xentrafen

At the time of this review, Xentrafen was no longer listed on the manufacturer’s website, and it was “currently unavailable” via Amazon, but it was still possible to make a purchase via Walmart and the price was $23.99 per 60-capsule pot. The fact that the pills were not available via amazon is not a big issue, but when diet pills are dropped from manufacturer’s websites it usually indicates a discontinued product.

There is no money back guarantee.

The Bottom Line

If this product has been discontinued, and we strongly suspect it has, the existing supplies at third-party retailers, like Walmart, are likely to run out soon.

It seems unlikely that too many people will mourn its loss. Although the product would likely be capable of supporting improved weight loss results, Xentrafen is very much a stimulant driven supplement and diet pills of this kind tend to be the worst for causing side effects. There are better ways to go.

A lot of diet pills contain a little caffeine or synephrine, but combining such a lot of stimulants together is a big no-no.
